THE DUNDEE GUERRILLA FILM FESTIVAL

Join featured artist Sam Gonçalves for a screening of his short film, The Lifespan of Utopias.

Each Happening is comprised of three parts:

THE SCREENING
Join us for a good old fashioned lights-off, popcorn munching, couch seated screening of contemporary family classic,
Wall-E (2008). For all ages!

THE EXHIBITION
THE LIFESPAN OF UTOPIAS chronicles the rise and fall of our urban obsessions. Linking Dundee’s high rises with the history of utopian developments in Brazil, Filmmaker Sam Gonçalves reflects on city life, and the pursuit of perfection.

THE RESPONSE
Working collaboratively with your fellow viewers to help draw up the schematics of a new utopia - high rise or otherwise.

CONTRIBUTE TO THE ART SWAP!

We want to encourage a culture of radical artistic exchange in Dundee. We don’t ticket our events, or charge any admission! Instead, we suggest that you bring something of your work to add to our art swap table. Bring something, and take something of someone else’s away!
Add whatever you might like to the table: we’re open to a huge variety! Some examples might include:
